The concept of multi-member file is a purely DB2 AS/400 thing that does not exist in other databases and which generally leads to several problems in modernization projects that see the use of other languages and tools or porting of cross-platform applications. I purposely said AS/400 because I guess a modern development on IBM i doesn’t involve the use of multi-member files. …
